My Testimony

I was born in the catholic family, my great grandparents were catholic and every member of the extended family is catholic. It so happened that my dad changed first to be an Adventist and so was mom, I was separated from my parents as my mother was disowned by my grandmother for being an Adventist which my grandmother did not like at all, she used to chase any Adventist who were going at her house for witnessing.

This is the same way she started treating my mom, mom wanted me to be with her as I’m her first born but my grand mother told me not to and she was doing all the best she could so I should not be an Adventist too. One Saturday I sneaked out and followed my mom to church, I was very young by then and I did not really understand what the preacher was preaching. When I went outside after church, I asked my mom what the man who was preaching was talking about. Then mom started telling me while she was crying about what God has done for her and how he is going to do a lot for me too. Then asked mom that but why did you go to Adventist? Don’t you know my grandmother does not like it? And then she told me that there two ways, one leads to Satan and many people follow it and also another way leads to God and very few people follow it as it is very hard to follow. Then I started thinking , I was wondering what that meant , then I realized that I catholic I knew nothing about God, and about memorizing Bible passages like the way my mom knew by the time she was Adventist.

When I got to my grandmothers place, I told her I was going with my mom to Seventh-day Adventist and I was leaving her home and go to moms place, from then onwards I became an Adventist and I’m happy of what God is doing for me.
